What is Data Trackers?: Data Trackers is a no-code tool that instruments Articulate Storyline 360 courses with tracking in a single click. Upload your .story file, configure tracking, download the instrumented course, and watch learner data flow in — browse every captured row and generate AI report snapshots per tracker.
Does my .story file get uploaded to your servers?: Your browser unpacks it and keeps all media (images, audio, video) on your machine. The course structure -- scenes, slide text, variables and triggers -- is sent to our API to map your course, and we store a snapshot of it with your tracker so later uploads can be compared. We also receive the tracking events once learners take the published course.
Can I sign up now?: Not yet. Public sign-up is coming soon. For now Data Trackers is an invite-only beta: testers join through a personal invitation link, and everything created during the beta is test data that is deleted when the beta ends. Questions? Get in touch.
Which LMS platforms are supported?: If your LMS supports Storyline output (SCORM or xAPI), it works. That covers essentially every mainstream LMS: SCORM Cloud, Moodle, TalentLMS, Absorb, Cornerstone, Docebo, Litmos, and so on.
How much does it cost?: There is a free tier with no credit card and no time limit. Paid plans start at €109 per year -- roughly 100x cheaper than an enterprise LRS. See our pricing page for details.
Do I need to know code?: No. The entire process is point-and-click. You configure tracking per slide, and we inject the triggers into the Storyline project file automatically.
Can I roll back changes?: Yes. Every injection creates a new version. You can roll back to an earlier build in one click if a publish cycle goes wrong.
Is there an enterprise plan?: Yes -- for SSO/SAML, on-prem deployment, custom data retention, dedicated account manager, and volume licensing. Pricing is custom. Contact sales.
Do I own my data?: Always. Export it any time to CSV, JSON, or connect BigQuery directly. If you leave, you can take everything with you.
